Now that we had a good idea of where to start with this project, our team began by selecting the appropriate catch can for the Mustang.
Catch Can Selection
We have two options in catch cans. Our standard baffled oil catch can is shown below.
This innovative catch can features a slew of high-quality CNC-machined components. The unit utilizes thread-in fittings, an internal baffle, and a bronze 40-micron filter to separate the particles. We have had a ton of success offering this product as a universal catch can. One thing that may hold us back from using this component in the Mustang 2.3L is the general footprint. This is a large catch can and provides a massive

Prototype Fabrication
After experimenting with some boxed designs in Part 1 of this write-up, it was time to turn our attention to a shrouded setup, similar to what we offer for the 2008-2014 models. We're hoping we could utilize the piping from our existing kit, which is well designed and has proven power gains. After placing the shroud into position, we found that it would certainly fit, but would require some modification. The fabrication work began! Check out a few shots taken during the process.

An aftermarket exhaust is an easy way to distinguish your car from the slew of vehicles roaming the streets. Not only does it enhance aesthetics, but the amplified noise is also a dead giveaway that you are an automotive enthusiast. For many of us, an exhaust is a simple initial upgrade that will enhance the driving experience and provide greater enjoyment. With a variety of options popping up, it can be difficult to select a setup that will provide the noise level and tone that you want from your Subaru.
We are no stranger to exhaust components. Many of you kept up with the progress of our build for the FA20 downpipe we developed and released a few months ago. Thanks to a skilled engineering team, high-quality materials, attention to detail, and impressive craftsmanship,

Interested in picking up this awesome catch can system? Check out more details on our product page!
Ready for some interesting test results? After around 2,000 miles on a BRZ, this kit was ready to be inspected to see what kind of byproduct had accumulated in each can. The plan was to evaluate both systems to determine whether a single- or dual-can setup was necessary. If one of the lines did not collect any fluid, the need for a catch can would not be justified. So, we popped the hood and inspected the system to see if road abuse had a negative impact on the mounting brackets or lines.

We are nearing completion of this awesome project! With our bracket and housing finalized, it was time to fill in the gaps for the rest of the necessary components. First up, the filter selection. As mentioned earlier, we were looking for an efficient filter that could easily be purchased at any parts store. We went with the WIX 24070. Of course, any brand that will cross-reference with this filter will also function with our kit.

Mishimoto 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost
Does it need a catch can?
This question is on the minds of many vehicle enthusiasts. If it doesn't add power, why would I want it? Why should I waste my money on it? All valid questions here. True, a catch can install will not add power to your vehicle, but that does not negate its function as a beneficial component for your vehicle.
Let's jump into the basic

Launch Edition Subaru STI in Mishimoto garage
Introduction
Our team is finally working on some cool components for the new 2015 Subaru STI! As you know, the 2015 STI is essentially a hybrid of old and new Impreza components. It features the newer body style paired with the trusty EJ engine, instead of the new DIT motor featured in the WRX. We won't get into which is better or which we prefer, because we have nothing but praise for the updated chassis.
