Managing, Blocking and Deleting Cookies
Some Internet browsers contain controls for managing cookies. Those controls may enable you to delete cookies or to accept or reject certain categories of cookies. You may be able to manage other (non-cookie) tracking technologies through the websites of the firms that provide such technologies or through the operating system of your mobile device. You should consult the “Help” section of your browser or the website of your hardware, software, or operating system providers for further information. You can also learn more about cookies by visiting allaboutcookies.org, which includes additional useful information on cookies and how to block cookies using different types of browsers. Cookie Settings
Please note that if you reject or delete cookies the related features and functions of our website may be unavailable to you and the performance of our website as experienced by you may be impaired.
Strictly Necessary Cookies These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work and/or we may not be able to respond to a request for service. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information. Performance Cookies All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited our site, and will not be able to monitor its performance. Personalisation Cookies These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages to deliver features such as a more tailored experience, more relevant query results, personalisation or customization of your website experience, or personalisation or customization of response to requests for service. If you do not allow these cookies then some or all of these services may not function properly. 3rd-Party & Social Media Cookies These cookies may be set through our site by our partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts or allow social media actions on other sites or on Mishimoto's website. They do not store directly personal information, but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you may experience less targeted advertising and may not be able to perform social media actions on our website. However, your personal experience will differ based on the privacy settings you have set independently within these platforms (such as Facebook or Google). In addition, Mishimoto is not responsible for the information that may already be stored within these tools prior to the cookie being allowed or disallowed.
Opting Out of Emails
You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email. Where you opt out of receiving these marketing messages, this will not apply to personal data provided to us because of a service purchase or service experience.
We securely store your information and hold it for as long as we need to in order provide our services and products to you in accordance with applicable law, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you have with us. We review our retention periods for personal information regularly. If you have not interacted with us in any way, we will generally no longer hold your information after 5 years (although this may be shorter for individual cases (you can confirm by contacting us). Sometimes transactional data is needed for longer periods of time such as tax and other financial regulatory reasons. We would only keep it for longer than this if we are required to by law. If you request for us to no longer contact you, for example with marketing communications, we will retain the minimum amount of information about you so that we can ensure we remove you from any future communications. Please note that if you ask us to completely remove all information about you, and you subsequently use our products and services at a later date, we will no longer be able to recognize your previous request to not be contacted, which is why we would keep it and suppress it in line with industry standards.
