The engineers at BMW did an excellent job striking balance between exceptional power and cooling in the latest generation of BMW G8X M3 and M4 models. Unfortunately, this meant positioning components, namely the oil cooler, in precarious positions. Placed on the undercarriage and parallel to the road’s surface, the G8X oil cooler is vulnerable to bumps, scrapes, debris, and other road hazards.
The engineers at Mishimoto recognized this shortcoming while developing the Mishimoto 2021+ BMW G8X M3/M4 performance oil cooler, and in Mishimoto fashion, pushed the limits to construct the Mishimoto 2021+ BMW G8X M3/M4 skid plate! This skid plate is constructed from light-weight aluminium and features a precise, cross-cut design to protect your stock or Mishimoto performance oil cooler from bumps, scrapes, and punctures. It includes a corrosion-resistant black powder-coat finish and comes with everything needed for a smooth and simple installation – no cutting or modifications necessary!
