Rally America's Rally Cross Coming to New Jersey

Starting this Saturday, New Jersey Motorsports Park will be the venue for the Rally America's European-style rally cross debut in the USA. Rallycross combines rally, off-road racing, and circuit racing. Five drivers will navigate their way through a course of hills, unbanked turns, and of course, jumps! The course is a mixture between pavement and gravel. Every driver will be required to take a joker lap. A "Joker Lap" is a change in the course, usually a jump, that will completely challenge the drivers and possibly change the outcome of the event because of the unpredictability and change in pace.

Mishimoto sponsored driver Andrew Comrie-Picard is going to be in the competition this weekend! Andrew stated that "Rallycross at X Games 16 was incredible and I cannot wait to get out on track again this weekend in New Jersey. I can only imagine that Rallycross will grow rapidly in popularity in the U.S."

If you can't physically make it to the event, ESPN2 has you covered.
